Call for Paper

The Journal of Islamic Economic History and Thought Review (JIETHTR) is an academic publication that encourages scholars to submit research, conceptual and theoretical articles, book reviews, and historical case studies that focus on the study of Islamic economic history and thought.  

The journal welcomes contributions that engage with diverse aspects of Islamic economic history, including but not limited to:

• The historical development of Islamic economic institutions and practices
• The contributions of classical and contemporary Islamic scholars to economic thought
• The influence of Islamic principles on trade, finance, and governance throughout history
• Comparative analyses of Islamic economic systems with other economic traditions
• The transmission and evolution of Islamic economic ideas across different societies
• The role of Islamic economic thought in shaping modern economic policies and practices
