Author Guidelines : Jurnal Ekonomika Islam dan Pembangunan
Ekonomika Islam dan Pembangunan is a journal focused on research and development in the field of Islamic economics, including the study of Islamic principles in the context of economic development. We invite researchers and academics to submit original, relevant, and high-quality manuscripts in accordance with the guidelines outlined below.
1. Manuscript Writing
Authors are required to follow the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure, which includes the following sections:
- Introduction: This section should explain the background of the problem, research objectives, and the relevance of the study in the context of Islamic economics and development.
- Methods: Clearly describe the research methods used, whether qualitative, quantitative, or mixed, including the rationale for their choice. Also, explain the research design, instruments, samples, and data analysis performed.
- Results: Present the research findings objectively and in detail, supported by relevant tables, charts, or figures.
- Discussion: Discuss the research findings and relate them to theory, previous literature, and practical implications in the context of Islamic economics and development.
2. Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts must be entirely original and free from plagiarism. The maximum allowable plagiarism rate is 25%, including improper citations. Authors are required to check their manuscripts using plagiarism detection software before submission to ensure compliance.
3. References
- The reference list must include at least 30 references, consisting of a variety of primary sources (such as books, academic journals, research articles, and reports) and secondary sources that are relevant to the research topic.
- References used must be current and relevant to contemporary issues in Islamic economics and development.
- Please use academic sources that are credible, including international journals, books published by reputable publishers, and publications from authoritative research institutions.
4. Use of Reference Software Manager Applications
Authors are required to use a Reference Software Manager Application (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero) to manage and accurately format references. This is to ensure consistency and adherence to the citation style used by the journal. Authors should also follow the citation guidelines using the APA (American Psychological Association) style for in-text citations and reference list formatting.
5. Manuscript Format
- Manuscripts must be typed in Microsoft Word with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides, using Times New Roman font size 12, and 1.5 line spacing.
- The main manuscript title should be written in uppercase (bold), while subheadings should be in normal uppercase letters.
- Authors should include their full name, affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID (if available) at the end of the title page.
- Please follow the formatting guidelines as provided in the manuscript template supplied by the journal.
6. Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system available on the journal's website. Each manuscript will undergo an anonymous peer-review process before a decision is made regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.
7. Additional Requirements
- Authors are responsible for the originality of the data and claims made in the manuscript.
- Authors with multiple affiliations should clearly list all of their affiliations.
